The second album by Pabellón sin Baranda, titled Atrinca, was released in 2007 and recorded between 2006 and 2007 under the production of Orlando Montiel. Featuring 19 tracks, the album stands out for including 11 original compositions by the trio’s members, with guest musicians such as Eduardo Betancourt (harp), Alberto José Requena (maracas), and Sergio López (marimba). Among the external composers featured are Luis Laguna, Pablo Camacaro, Ignacio "Indio" Figueredo, and Leo Brouwer, along with contributions from René Orea, Rafael Sánchez López, and Raimundo Pineda.
In this production, Pedro Vásquez and Orlando Cardozo take on a more prominent role as composers, presenting works such as Malagueña Armenia, Tonada Eslava, Atrinca, and El guachafitero. Javier Montilla contributes with the interludes Arlequín and Cokotería, the latter co-written with Betancourt. The album also includes Stravismo, a merengue inspired by The Rite of Spring by Stravinsky, blending elements of academic music with Venezuelan tradition in a humorous nod and tribute to the influence of the Russian composer.
