The first album by Pabellón sin Baranda, recorded in 1995 and released in 1997, includes 15 tracks that blend traditional Venezuelan pieces with original compositions by its members. Notable among these are El coloraíto, a waltz by Javier Montilla; Elegía, a song by Pedro Vásquez; and two pieces by Rafael "Pollo" Brito: the merengue La baranda que faltaba and the waltz Nocturno a Los Teques. In addition, the album features innovative medleys such as Gaitollón and Popurrí barandeao, which reflect the group's distinctive style, bringing their personality into each interpretation.
